Superstar’s pat of congrats for Ultimate star
Perhaps! He could have thought Ajith outsmarted him in many aspects and Superstar was thrown into great surprise to see his film being polished in a stupendous manner.
Completing his birthday celebrations in Bangalore, he returned Chennai and happened to watch Billa at Four Frames Preview Theatres. Superstar hugged Ajith praising him of his glorifying attitude and passion that he had shown towards this film.
Blissful over the making of film, he showered his blessings on Ajith, saying that things would be completely different not only for Ajith and for the entire Kollywood. Betoken of dedicating this remake to Rajnikanth, he fulfilled his promise hosting special screening for Rajnikanth.

Chennai: Over 175 days and still going strong, the success of Rajinikant's latest release Sivaji demonstrates the superstar's power over cinegoers in Tamil Nadu. And that’s not all, it's celebration time once again for Rajinikant fans as the superstar turns 58 on Wednesday.
But, besides being a star and a mentor, people close to the cine icon say that what makes Rajinikant truly unassuming is his simple nature.
“It’s the way he behaves with people on the sets. He is punctual and honest. There's something so special about the man which cannot be described easily,” actress Nayanthara says.
While Rajinikant’s daughter Aiswarya says that he is a great friend and much more than a father. “We could sit and have a conversation with him like I can have with any of my friends.”
Agreeing with Aiswarya, his other daughter Soundarya also says that the superstar is a “great dad”.
“On his special day I would like to wish him a very happy birthday. We will be spending a good time together. It's going to be a close family evening, so I am looking forward to it,” she says.
Reverentially referred to as thalaivar in Tamil, it's not just family, his co-stars, too, are completely in awe of the actor.
“For all that he has achieved in the last so many years, he's so humble and so nice to people and you can see that in his behavior. He's the same with everybody, he doesn't differentiate nor is there any hierarchy in his life,” actor Ajith Kumar says.
In a career spanning over three decades Rajinikant has acted in over 150 films. Having started as a bus conductor in the State Transport Corporation in Bangalore, Rajini's rise to stardom is a lot like the legendary rags-to-riches stories.
Today, Rajinikant remains one of the highest paid actors in Asia and his latest blockbuster has just re-affirmed his position at the box-office.
Rajini will be seen next in Tamil cinema's first big budget animation film Sultan: The Warrior which is being directed by his daughter Soundarya. At 58, there is still no stopping his mega performer as he conquers greater heights.

The music wizard A.R. Rahman was at his magical best. His first ever live concert held in the capital city on last Saturday (November 17), was a grand success in terms of its mesmerizing effect on the audiences.Music maestro A.R. Rahman cast a magical spell over his audiences, as he sang some of his all-time popular compositions, including "Khalbali" and "Pathshala".The grand stage had LCD screens flanking both wings, scores of steps leading up to a tiny balcony on one side, and was lit up by colourful lights.Rahman captivated the audience with a rare musical fare that had songs ranging from ?Roja Jaaneman? (from the film Roja) and ?Kehna hi kya? (Bombay) to more recent hits like ?Khalbali? (Rang de Basanti), and ?Barso re Megha? (Guru). The hit numbers of the latest blockbuster 'Sivaji' and a musical score from the yet-to-be-released 'Jodha Akbar', too were sung to the delight of the audience.The pony-tailed Hariharan, Chitra, Madhushree, Sadhna Sargam and Delhi's own boy Kailash Kher, accompanying Rahman in the concert. Ace drummer Sivamani enthralled the audience with his incredible marathon-drumming spell.The sets changing with each song, and the dancers performing alongside the crooning maestros provided some spectacular visual treat to the musical show.Rahman, who was dressed in a white sherwani, changed into a dull purple kurta mid way through the concert and sat on the piano to perform his English number ?Pray for me brother?. "I hope you will support me in my fight against poverty," Rahman said.He also launched a set of colouring books, the earnings of which will go to his foundation that works for humanitarian causes.Though the open-air venue at Rajouri Garden in west Delhi was not packed due to the huge pricing of tickets (between Rs.500 and 5,000 per ticket), the concert was memorable for the ones who were present there.The sight of the crowd giving standing ovation while Hariharan sang ?Bharat humko jaan se pyara hai? was an emphatic sign to show that the fare was a hit."I hope you enjoy the concert," Rahman said to the audiences, who were spellbound and screaming for more. The controversy involving Kushboo wearing footwear near by the photos of Hindu deities got more serious with one more case has been filed against her. Following the cases filed against her in Chennai and Kumbakonam, another case is filed in Rameswaram today (December 1).
Kannan Siva, leader of Hindu Munnani, Rameswaram branch, has gone to the court seeking action against Kushboo for her alleged act that has “humiliated the feelings of Hindus”. She should be punished under the 295 and 295A Sections of IPC, demands the petition filed by Kannan.
Justice Sampath Kumar has accepted the petition and adjourned the case to December 5.
It may be recalled that Kushboo was allegedly sitting near by the photos of the Hindu Goddesses with footwear in her legs during the Pooja performed to mark the launch of 'Vallamai Tharayo'.
Reacting to the allegations, Kushboo categorically denied having humiliated the feelings of Hindus and said that she would submit her response before the court. Director Madhumitha too came in defense of the actor
